It was well overdue, but the site really needed an extreme makeover ! The multiple lists of models, sorted by type and range, have all been
totally reviewed and the information is now displayed in a more friendly fashion so you can easily find the information you are looking for.
To see the information as you usally do, by range and box type, simply click “BROWSE BOXES BY TYPE” on the box type at the top of the page.
You will then have thechoice of the range you want to consult. Or you can simply use the yellow menu in red. Under this menu, tons of
information about each range and types are available for you to dig deeper in the world of pre-1070 MATCHBOX boxes!
The changes to the site are of course not only cosmetic. A
complete review of all the 1630+ box variations have been
made to ensure the most up-to-date information is offered.
There were indeed many corrections made from the previous
listing, as well as some additions of new variations found and
the elimination of a few duplicates. Unfortunately, keeping
track of all the changes was quite challenging and, if you kept
the variation numbers in your reference listings, I invite you
you consult the old site, which will remain only for a while to
allow collectors to adjust if desired. The link to the old site is at
the top of the page.
So far the site have always offered a view of boxes by box type,
where you would find box information by browsing through
models of a same box type. You will have the possibility to
browse by model and this will enable you to see all the box
types for one particular model. Since we have 236 Regular
Wheels, 6 Accessory Packs, 41 King Size, 15 Major Packs and 27
Superfast, that’s no less than 325 pages! To consult boxes by
model, click on the Range icon at the top of the page, or click on
the model when you consult by types!
The question is often asked and this is now a work in progress
to add the Yesteryear. Already, the classification has been reviewed
to truly fit in the integrated box classification used on this site.

Literaly a world of its own, the KING SIZE F BOXES need a different approach in terms of
documenting the many boxes made in this style. For now, if you consult the F boxes for
KS, you won't find pictures. But all the different variations are documented. This is
true for each model for which an F box was made, as well as browsing the F box page for
KS. Don't worry, those pictures will be added progressively as time permits. Stay tuned!
